The best hostess gifts are projects that are cheap and easy to make, and can be made assembly line style.  I found these cute plastic candy jars at the dollar store and transformed them into old timey apothecary-style jars with a colorful twist. Fill the apothecary jar with sweets for an inexpensive hostess gift sure to brighten up anyone’s day. Make one for teachers, your hairdresser, UPS driver, or anyone you want to give a little gift to.
