Poor St. Patrick’s Day; it always seems to get overshadowed by Valentine’s Day and Easter. (Although I will admit that I do have a weakness for candy-based holidays, which just might explain the phenomenon.) Show St. Paddy’s some love by making a quick, simple bouquet of paper shamrocks. Lila from Sweet and Lovely Crafts made hers using a free shamrock template that she found online (you can find the link on her blog), or you could also use shamrock paper punch, a stencil, or stickers. Project estimate:
- Green paper, on hand
- Bamboo skewers, on hand or $1
- Mason jar or other empty glass jar, on hand
- Glue, on hand
Total: Free and up

I too feel sad for St. Patrick’s Day, so I was very pleased when I saw this! I particularly like the plaid paper – and the combination of different types of papers is a great idea.
