Make a Split Pea Spring Wreath

When I open my pantry and see a bag of dried split peas, I usually think of mixing them with ham, not glue.  That said, I'm completely in love with this cute spring wreath by Katie at Little Things Bring Smiles.  The texture is great and the color is fabulous!  She made hers as St. Patrick's Day decor, but the springy shade makes them great for the entire coming season.  They would also look cute decorated with a flowers or other embellishments.   [how to make a split pea spring wreath]

Project estimate:

  • Wreath form, $1
  • Split peas,  $1
  • Glue, on hand

Total:  $2

I’m thinking with small rings this can be adapted to make unique Easter or spring candle holders too. Thanks for the find!

Richard would agree that this is a much better use for peas than eating them!!
