Make a Bunting Paper Lantern

I was surfing around Pinterest (which, by the way, is highly addictive) when I came across this idea that made me gasp a  little.  Combining two things I really like, buntings and paper lanterns, is GENIUS,  and it's a great stashbusting opportunity to boot!  Kirsty from You Had Me At Bonjour even found a hanging lamp kit for her lantern at IKEA with a turquoise cord that matched her bunting perfectly.  (Reason #1,492 why IKEA is awesomesauce.)  Dollar Tree has paper lanterns in their seasonal section right now...   What are you waiting for??  [how to make a bunting paper lantern]

Project estimate:

  • Paper lantern, $1 and up
  • Scrap fabric, on hand
  • Sewing machine, on hand
  • Hot glue, on hand

Total:  $1 and up
