We've long been fans of craft foam.  While it's a supply often relegated to kiddie crafts, these dainty craft foam roses by Jeromina of Paper, Plate, and Plane are decidedly grown up!  They're just begging to be made into magnets, push pins, jewelry, or anything else that needs flowery embellishment.  The secret to these tiny blossoms is a tool that most crafters probably have on hand:  a pair of scalloped scissors!  It would be interesting to experiment with this technique using other patterns  of edging scissors as well!  [how to make easy craft foam mini roses]

Project estimate:

  • Craft foam, on hand or $1
  • Scalloped scissors, on hand
  • Hot glue, on hand

Total:  Free and up
