You know we love us some t-shirt crafts. (Need proof?) This is one of the more versatile recycled t-shirt projects we’ve seen, since the resulting fabric can be used for just about anything! Over at Alphamom, Ellen used a basic peg loom and strips of t-shirt fabric to make woven material, which in turn can be used for any number of projects. She used hers to make a soothing eye pillow! [how to recycle t-shirts into woven fabric]
Project estimate:
- Peg loom, on hand (or learn to make one for free here)
- T-shirts, on hand or $1
- String, on hand or $1
Total: Free and up

This would be a great way to make your own reusable Swiffer mop pad.
