Whether you’re looking forward to it or you’re dreading it, back-to-school time is creeping up on us. School supplies are starting to appear on the shelves at Dollar Tree, which means it’s time for a school supplies craft challenge! Pencils and paper are good for so much more than just note-taking, and we want to see your most creative school supply creations. One lucky reader will walk away with a $100 Dollar Tree gift card! Start crafting now, and come back between August 1st and August 7th to show off your entry!
We love back-to-school time because it means great deals on all kinds of items we love to use for crafting. What kind of things can you make out of school supplies?
The college students in your life would love these neon color-blocked office supplies to dress up their dorm room desks. (The school supplies section at Dollar Tree has all kinds of fun things you could give a neon facelift!)
Feeling fashionable? Try turning pencils into jewelry, like this pencil cuff bracelet.
We can’t wait to see everyone’s ideas!

Perfect timing! I was already planning out a dollar store project that fits into this category! Perfect excuse to start working on it!

This sounds fun! I have a question…I saw in the first example a $25
price. I didn’t know if the $25 was what was spent for that particular project or if that is the amount to spend (or below) for the School Supply Challenge. Or the challenge might not have a price to stay within…I didn’t see an amount in the rules. Thanks!

The $25 was the budget for the project shown (the items were made as part of a campaign where the participants had $25 to spend). For this challenge there are no spending requirements – you can spend as much or as little as you would like!
