Makeup is one of those things that just about every girl owns; most of us in such large quantity that it needs its own designated storage space.  Andrea from Shabby Kitteh has been on a mission to organize her collection, including her massive selection of eye shadows.  What do you do when the palettes that they came in take up too much space?  Combine them all together into one giant palette!  She cleverly constructed her oversized eyeshadow compact using a children's book from the dollar store.  It's also a great way to revive books that are shedding pages or otherwise past their prime!  [how to make a makeup palette]

Project estimate:

  • Book, $1
  • Foam core, on hand or $1
  • Magnet sheet or strips, $1 and up
  • Hot glue, on hand
  • Duct tape, on hand or $1 and up
  • Scrapbook paper, on hand

Total:  $2 and up
