I have no idea why these adorable Santa figurines were two for $1.00 at my local Dollar Tree, but who am I to pass up a great deal? They’re just so cute! I ran through several ideas in my head, and in the end I decided to make an adorable Santa Christmas cloche. Since my little Santa is a gardener, I plan to place poinsettias or mistletoe in the cloche. It would also look cute filled with ornaments, fake snow, or even cookies for Santa!
Project Estimate:
- Santa figurine, $0.50 and up
- Glass bowl, $1.00
- Round wood plaque, $1.00
- Red pain, on hand
- Glue, on hand
Total: $2.50 and up
To make your own Santa Christmas Cloche:
Step 1: Remove labels from glass and figurine. Use E-6000 to glue Santa to the base of the bowl.
Step 2: Paint the wood plaque red.
Step 3: Set the cloche on top of the base. Fill with treats, ornaments, flowers, etc.
No one will guess that everything came from the dollar store! If you’re a hoarder deal-seeker like me, you probably purchased several little Santa figurines and can make lots of gifts with them, like this cloche or my mason jar. Happy crafting!
