Tutorial: Punched Tissue Paper Flower Bouquet

All of us here are Dollar Store Crafts get so excited to partner with different craft lines.  Recently we received some awesome products from Martha Stewart Crafts.  The minute Heather and I saw the cover of Martha Stewart Living magazine we both knew exactly what we could make.  On the cover is a gorgeous floral arrangement.  A trip to the Dollar Store for some tissue paper, floral picks and a container made this arrangement not only beautiful, but reasonably priced.

Project estimate:

Total:  $4 and up

Take about four sheets of tissue paper and fold in half, then in half again.  This will make a square.  Using the Martha Stewart Circle Edge Punch set, punch around the edge of the tissue paper.

With 5 sheets, bunch in the middle and pinch back.  Wrap the back with wire and secure in place with glue.  Place stick at base and wire to flower.  Wire all the way down the stick to reenforce it.  After it is secured flip over and fluff the tissue paper to make a full flower.

Place floral foam in container and arrange flowers to make a full bouquet.  Fill in holes with more flowers or greenery.  You can add anything to you bouquet at this point.  I think this would make a super cute candy bouquet.  Glue picks to candy bars and stick randomly throughout the arrangement.  This would also make a special gift for someone with allergies!
