Lanterns hung from trees are so romantic. They give any plain space a warm, inviting feel. You could even use them to keep buggies at bay during the summer by using citronella candles inside. Cindy from Skip to My Lou shows us how to make these impressive lanterns from nylon cord or hemp twine and an old glass jar. [how to make a hanging mason jar candle holder]

Project estimate:

  • Nylon cord or hemp twine, on hand or $1 and up
  • Glass jar, on hand or $1 and up
  • Candle, on hand or $0.25 and up

Total: free and up!

[...] Amazing! This DIY project is one of a kind! I’ve never seen a project as good and as unique as this! I mean this project is totally unique because of the materials used! I’m going to make this project and I’m 100% sure about that! My friends would love to have this kind of stuff, so I must make several pieces for them! The full post can be found here [...]
