Make a Ribbon Carrot Treat Holder

With Easter swiftly creeping up on us, now is the time to start thinking about crafts for the holiday!  If you have treats that need to be distributed, putting them in a cute container turns them into something even more special.  Sherri at About Family Crafts come up with this cute idea, covering a paper mache cone with ribbon to turn it into carrot that is perfect for holding a serving of candy or other small treats.  If you don't have access to the paper mache cones, you could also use a sheet of cardstock or other heavy paper to form cones for this project.  [how to make ribbon carrot treat holders]

Project estimate:

  • Paper mache cone, $1 and up
  • Ribbon, on hand or $1
  • Hot glue, on hand

Total:  $1 and up
