Remember the pressed penny charm bracelet we featured the other day? If you still have some spare smooshed change left over after that project, or you’re a few pennies short of a full bracelet, here’s an alternative idea. It’s just one of many ways Jen from Epbot incorporated them into her creations. She even used nail polish to add a faux enamel look to the details on one of her pennies. Once you go check out her post, you’ll be squishing every penny you can find! [how to make a pressed penny necklace]
Project estimate:
- Pressed pennies, on hand or $0.51 each
- Miniature frames, $1 and up
- Broken jewelry, on hand
- Glue, on hand
Total: $1 and up

We made my daughter a charm bracelet last time and used a Mount Rushmore penny she had gotten years ago. She LOVED it. I think we’ll do a necklace for Christmas.

This is a great idea! My mom would love this for Christmas! She’s been collecting pressed pennies since I was a child, and this is a great way to use up some of her doubles!
