If you’ve watched more than a couple of hours of TV in the past several years, you’ve probably seen Vince the pitch man get all worked up about the ShamWow. Dollar Tree carries pretty much the same thing, but the DT version is simply called “Wow!” (Does that make it a sham ShamWow?) While I’m sure it will soak up that soda you spilled all over the carpet, my favorite reason to buy a Wow! is to make something crafty out of it! Cindy from so the cook said used one in lieu of heavy felt to make rosettes which she attached to a grapevine wreath, creating a gorgeous display to welcome guests. She made hers for autumn, but I think it reads equally well for spring! [how to make a ShamWow flower wreath]
Project estimate:
- Wow!, $1
- Wreath, $1 and up
- Hot glue, on hand
Total: $2 and up

What a clever, inexpensive way to get the look of felt.
