Hula Hoop Dome Tent!

Kids love to play with things that are their own size, and they love to have little spaces all their own.  What child wouldn't love a cute little dome tent just their size to play in?

My sister Elizabeth came up with this idea a few months back.  Can you believe the poles for her dome tent are made from hula hoops?? GENIUS, I tell ya!

Ever since I saw her tent, I've been dying to have Elizabeth share it with Dollar Store Crafts readers.  Finally, that day has come!  [Head to my blog for Elizabeth's instructions!]

Project Estimate:

  • 5 hula hoops, $1 each
  • thrifted king-size sheet, $3 & up

Total:  $8 and up!

Caroline Sanchez (Care) has been sewing since her mom taught her the basics at around six years old.  She has always been driven to CREATE, even from a very young age.  She is mommy to two little boys and one baby girl, and almost every spare moment she has is spent in her sewing room or working on her blog, Obsessively Stitching

Ok that is really cool. My 3.5 year old would love that. Any place for him to hide rocks his world. I love that idea. I would have never thought of that in a million years.
