Kids love to play with things that are their own size, and they love to have little spaces all their own. What child wouldn’t love a cute little dome tent just their size to play in?
My sister Elizabeth came up with this idea a few months back. Can you believe the poles for her dome tent are made from hula hoops?? GENIUS, I tell ya!
Ever since I saw her tent, I’ve been dying to have Elizabeth share it with Dollar Store Crafts readers. Finally, that day has come! [Head to my blog for Elizabeth’s instructions!]
Project Estimate:
- 5 hula hoops, $1 each
- thrifted king-size sheet, $3 & up
Total: $8 and up!

Ok that is really cool. My 3.5 year old would love that. Any place for him to hide rocks his world. I love that idea. I would have never thought of that in a million years.
