Shhh!

I’m putting together a super-secret craft challenge in April – I send 10 crafters (who won’t know who they are until the receive the package) an envelope full of random stuff & they have to use it to make a project! Apply here & I’ll send out the packages April 5th!

Rules:

Get envelope.
Make stuff.
You can use your own stash to make it.
Don’t buy any new materials.
Take pictures.
Post pictures (blog, facebook, flickr, or email me).
Fortune and glory. Or maybe just fun.

I know, I’m totally challenge-happy this month. I don’t know why. I guess I just finally recovered from all that holiday crafting!

Yay! I am so excited. I submitted my info. I hope I get picked. Your blog is one of the main reasons I started going to the Dollar Tree. Now I just can’t stop! :)

Hey Heather – thanks for leaving a comment on the designer lampshade post. Here is my answer to your question: Using milk cartons would be a great recycling idea. I haven’t tried that, but I don’t see why it shouldn’t work! It might be a bit tricky cutting through the thick carton, but theoretically it should work. Stapling the ends together could also be difficult. If you try it, let me know if it worked out!!!

Love your challenge, by the way. Would love to take part – but am not based in the US :-(… that probably rules out my participation. Good luck with the challenge!

How Fun! Can’t wait to see what people come up with using their own creativity and imagination using Dollar Store stuff… I’ve finally found a use for the place… I entered but i’m not sure if I’m allowed to because I’m 15. Oh well, guess I’ll find out! ;)
