The dollar store is a great resource for inexpensive winter gear. Often, however, despite the fun color assortment they are very basic and leave something to be desired. If you are nervous about appliqueing such a detailed motif, you could certainly choose a simpler shape. How about a pine tree? Or, wouldn’t a letter monogram be a fun way of personalizing your scarf? Once you know the EASY technique, the possibilities are literally endless!
