I will admit that I save TP tube rolls but I have yet to make a single craft with them. This project might just be the one that actually convinces me to bust into my stash of recycled cardboard tubes! Miranda at MirandaMade shared a tutorial for making this adorable, yet frugal, Christmas village. You probably don’t have time to make it this week, but how about after the holidays have passed? Since it’s not holiday-specific, this village can remain on display in your home for a few more months. It would also be a fun project for the kiddos to do while they’re on winter break. You could easily adapt this for various seasons/holidays! Use fall colors and ‘leaves’ on the roofs for Autumn/Thanksgiving. Halloween decor. Valentines theme, etc… Maybe even make the houses not attach to the base, and make different ‘floors’ to top the base and make the roofs interchangeable and just change them out for each season. You could probably even incorporate magnets to make changeable decor on the sides of the houses. Whew! What a lot of work!

Heather, you could have made this for Xmas! In fact, you still have time. It is super easy!
