I think it’s safe to say I am entirely smitten with every single project that Carolyn from Carolyn’s Homework comes up with.  That’s especially true of this project.  Inspired by the rainy California winter weather, she used tissue paper and recycled materials to make these incredible raindrop suncatchers.  (Isn’t that kind of an oxymoron?)  With spring slowly sneaking up, these would make great “April showers” decorations as well, or clever decorations for a bridal or baby “shower!”  [how to make recycled raindrop suncatchers]

Project estimate:

  • Recycled plastic, on hand
  • Tissue paper, on hand or $1
  • Mod Podge, on hand
  • String, on hand

Total:  Free and up
