I don’t have any ink in real life (although I will admit to planning out my pretend future tattoos all the time), but I’m a huge fan of the temporary kind. Did you know you can buy special paper to print your own temporary tattoos? Just think of all the cool things you could do if you were making your own temporary tattoos! Birthday party favors, tattooed soap, and summer fun of all kinds!
This week our friends at Silhouette are sharing a special discount code for readers of Dollar Store Crafts that is good for purchasing their temporary tattoo paper, and you can use the paper even if you don’t have a Silhouette (a regular printer and scissors works just fine with the paper)!
Get 25% off Temporary Tattoo Paper (and everything else in the Silhouette Shop)
There is also a smokin’ deal on the Silhouette machine & some goodies:

$199 – use code DOLLAR
- A Silhouette machine
- 2 packages of Tattoo Paper
- Only $199
- Use Code DOLLAR when ordering
The top photo is of a cute project from How Does She? where Shelley made emergency contact tattoos to put on her kids when they go to crowded public events. Brilliant use of the tattoo paper (and your kids will think it’s fun to have a tattoo with their phone number on it). I also cracked up at these little mustache tattoos. Hee hee!

I have been wanting to try this paper, but I don’t have a Silhouette machine. I wonder if you can just use it with you printer and cut it out with scissors?

@Christy, yes, you can just print it on your printer and use scissors!

This looked like a really great deal, particularly with the coupon. However when they added shipping during checkout, I opted out. The total price, less the coupon, plus the shipping is almost $8 a sheet.
Bummer.

I too loved the idea of using this concept for printing your phone # on your child when going to public places. But sounds kinda $teep. I recently learned that sharpie pen is semi-permanent on the human body, if you dont mind waiting a few extra days! LOL. (They use it on all the kids in Junior Lifegaurds on competition days, it held up under water and thru sweat too!)

I will have to remember this idea for my kids’ birthday parties! My daughter just had a disco dance party– it would have been neat to create “theme” tattoos to hand out as party favors.
