Question: Rock Star Party Ideas?

Reader Tricia C. asked on the Dollar Store Crafts Facebook Page: “I need more crafty dollar store ideas!! I’m throwing a “Rock Star” themed party for my son’s first birthday and I was trying to think of some fun favors/decorations for the party! The colors will be black/red/silver. I’m going straight to the Dollar Tree on my lunch hour to get some ideas. Thanks!”

I don’t have a picture of the favors, but we did individually wrapped rock candy that had a You Rock! tag on it.

So excited for you – there’s lots of things you can do.

DECORATIONS – Carefully open old video cassettes and use the tape inside for shiny streamers;

ACTIVITY – Cut and decorate an old box lid to make a pretend photo frame and then have a photo-booth photo-session;

MAKE’N’TAKE – Have the kids make pet rocks for a take home craft;
