Whenever I get a glimpse of the beginning of spring, I feel a little lift. The dark days of winter are over! Today I saw the first crocus peeking through the dirt (it was purple), and the cherry trees are turning pinkish in preparation for the coming days when they will burst into snowy pink glory.
