Many dollar stores have a selection of jewelry, but it might not always be your style.  One thing I have learned in my years of jewelry making, however, is that even ugly or boring pieces can be made into something fabulous!  Silvia from Glitter Brain found a few pieces at her local dollar store that weren’t terrible, but just weren’t quite her style.  All it took was a little re-arranging of parts to turn them into entirely new pieces; three pairs of earrings and two necklaces became two pairs of earrings and one necklace for a cost of just 5 bucks.  If you have a collection of costume jewelry laying around, you can apply the same principles to those pieces to make new jewelry for free!  [how to transform dollar store jewelry]
