Do you use frozen juice concentrates around your house? Every time I open one of the cardboard tubes, I contemplate what I could do with the metal caps from the ends. They generally end up in my recycling bin, but once in a while I see and idea that makes me want to save a stack. Over at Grow Creative, Elsie collected a little pile of them and transformed them into pretty little magnets for her fridge! Hers are decorated with odds and ends of paper, but I think that they would also be cute personalized with photographs! [how to make recycled juice lid magnets]
Project estimate:
- Juice lids, on hand
- Paper scraps, on hand
- Magnets, $1 and up
- Glue, on hand
- Mod Podge, on hand
Total: $1 and up

Great idea. You can also cut up those advertising magnets and glue them on the same way you do the circles. You can easily get six to eight magnets out of one business card sized magnet. I use them for all kinds of things that I want to use as a magnet.

I never have these anymore, because everything comes in plastic. :(
The old ones were not only more fun for crafting, but more eco-friendly, too!
