Today I got to be on my local TV station KPTV for their show “More” where I got to show off some of my favorite quick and easy dollar store craft ideas. I had a lot of fun sharing my love of crafting with the rest of Oregon. Watch the segment below, and then scroll down for links to the project instructions.
Heather Mann is chief editor of Dollar Store Crafts, and specializes in transforming inexpensive materials into stylish and simple craft projects. Yay! Congrats, Heather! I saw it when it aired and you rocked it!
If I would have known you were going to be a star I would have gone to the Studio to cheer you on. What fun and wonderful ideas you shared!

Boy oh boy, you are definitely creative. Please do a post telling us about your creative process. For instance do you see a project and analysize until you can see a way to do it yourself or do you create and then just happen to find expensive things that look like your projects? How long does it take you to “figure it out”? Have you chalked up many projects as complete failures? Anyway, as you can see I’m looking for inspiration guidance and would love to see inside your mind.
