Make Plaster Casts with Sand

Ever since I was a kid I have enjoyed making casts with Plaster of Paris.  I remember the first time my elementary school teacher showed our class how to make replicas of our own hands for a Mother’s Day project and I was absolutely in awe!  The great thing about plaster casting is that you can replicate almost any item.  Suzy from Suzy’s Artsy Craftsy Sitcom had a sun-shaped night light that she picked up at the dollar store and she liked it so much that she decided she needed more suns to add to her decor.  Head over to her blog and see just how easy it was!  [how to make plaster casts with sand]
