What is one of our favorite things besides crafts from the dollar store? Crafts from the thrift store! When Breanna from Dollar Store Mom came across a mini skateboard on a recent trip thrifting excursion, she couldn’t help but snag it for her daughter. Her little lady painted the board all by herself, creating a one-of-a-kind, personalized toy that she loves. The design is sealed in with the new Washout formula of Mod Podge; if you do much crafting with kids you will definitely want to look into getting some! [how to make a painted mini skateboard]

Project estimate:

  • Mini skateboard, on hand or about $4 and up
  • Paint, on hand
  • Washout Mod Podge, on hand or about $8

Total: about $4 and up
