I don’t often make wreaths, but this year I decided I wanted a Halloween wreath. I wanted something glam and blingy, but that still had a spooky feel to it. When I found this cool fuzzy owl at Dollar Tree, inspiration struck. I grabbed some boas and feathers to match the owl, and got started on my wreath.
Project estimate:
- Styrofoam wreath form, on hand or $1 and up
- Fabric (optional), on hand
- Boa, $1
- Feathers , $1
- Sewing pins, on hand
- Owl,$1
- Diamond table scatter, $1 and up
- Ink, on hand or about $2 and up

Step three: Pin the feathers onto the bottom half of the wreath. I arranged groups of 4 feathers in a flower shape and pinned them on.
Step four: Color the table scatter with alcohol ink. Wrap the end of the scatter with wire and press the wire into the wreath form.
Your glamorous wreath is now ready to be displayed! It’s Halloween-ish without being gory or scary. If you don’t like owls, Dollar Tree also has crows. You could use yellow boas and orange feathers to create more of a fall themed wreath that you can display longer. Have fun crafting and creating!
