Faux Druzy Ring

Druzy quartz jewelry is hot, hot, hot right now!  Authentic druzy jewelry isn’t super expensive, but it’s still not cheap.  If you love the look but can’t afford the price tag on the real thing, you can easily recreate the style using a rock from your yard.  Find out how by watching the video below!  Or, if you prefer written instructions, keep scrolling for a full how-to.

Project estimate:

  • Rock, on hand
  • Nail polish, on hand or $1 and up
  • Ring blank, on hand or $1
  • Glue, on hand

Total:  Free and up!

Crafty Your Stash by Lisa Fulmer

This project was inspired by the new book Craft Your Stash by Lisa Fulmer.  This is a subject that is near and dear to my heart because I have a very large stash!  Here are a few projects from this book that I particularly liked:

Photo Cube Ornament

This photo cube ornament would be great to make with blocks of foam from the dollar store!

Recycled Suncatcher

This beautiful suncatcher is made out of beads and recycled materials.

Recycled CD Art

And I love these old CDs that have been recycled into art!
