Wow, amazing! This German Star wreath by Linaloo is made of recycled newspaper, and is oh-so-amazing! It might just unseat last year’s Origami Ball Wreath for folded paper holiday brilliance! I want to try it. Linaloo says each star takes about fifteen minutes to fold, and the entire wreath took her about two hours folding time. I’d say that’s a good investment for such a stunning end result! [click here for the german star wreath tutorial]

I’ve made those starts since I was about 6 years old, it’s a tradition in my family. Biggest issue is to ensure the strips of paper to be uniform in with. When I’m lazy, i use gift ribbon instead of cutting paper strips on my own. Gift ribbon makes a star about 1/2 inch wide and then you get them in all kinds of colors. Hang them on the tree, string them, make wreaths, or halos for the kids. all kinds of wonderful ideas.
